Resetting Macard WiFi Extender

On the Macard WiFi extender, you will get to see three buttons: Power on/off button, WPS button, and Reset button. The reset button is given as a pinhole button, which you can press with the help of the pen or paper pin. Have a look at below steps to reset your Macard N300 WiFi Extender:

  1. Use RESET button on the device.

  2. Press and hold the button with a pointed pen or paper pin.

  3. Hold it for 10 seconds and release it.

  4. Wait until the extender reboots and then re-configure it.

Factory reset process will clear out all previous data and adjusted settings from the N300 device.

Re-Do Macard N300 Setup

To reconfigure the extender, you need PC connected with the extender’s SSID network, default admin password, IP address of the device, Login URL, and powered on extender near router during Macard N300 setup. There are two methods to setup; let’s learn them one by one:

WPS Method

  1. Plug your extender near host router in a working wall socket and turn it on.

  2. Now, navigate the WPS button on the extender and press it once.

Extender’s WPS/WiFi LED will start blinking, meaning extender is ready to pair with router.

  1. Within 2 minutes press the WPS button on the router.

  2. Wait for extender’s WPS/WiFi LED to show solid green light which means the extender is connected to the host router.

Now, you can join the extended network using router’s SSID credentials.

Manual Method

  1. You have to power the extender within the reach of the router.

  2. Link your PC with the extender’s network via its default SSID credentials given at the back label of the extender.

  3. After the connection, go into the web browser and enter the login URL go.macard.online or IP address 192.168.10.1 in the address bar.

  4. Search the entered URL or IP and reach the interface login page of Macard N300.

  5. Here, enter the default admin password: admin (in lowercase) and click LOGIN button.

  6. The interface will ask you to choose language and then search for the local WiFi router network.

  7. Choose the host router’s network signals you want to extend. Enter the password to connect the extender with the router.

  8. Click NEXT, and create the new extended network by typing the WiFi name and password.

  9. SAVE it and wait until the extender reboots and apply all settings.

Likethis, the Macard N300 setup is completed and you can connect to the extended SSID network.
